An impressive, light yellow Quartz cluster from Madagascar. There are over half a dozen crystal terminations, and numerous more smaller terminations near the bottom of the specimen. The front of the piece is dusted with a druze of microcrystalline Quartz, creating a beautiful sparkly luster. I know Quartz specimens are a “dime a dozen” but this piece is particularly attractive with uncommon yellow color (natural), great luster and all of the terminations, large and small, pristine. I have seen similar specimens referred to as “Candle Quartz,” “Pineapple Quartz,” and “Cathedral Quartz” to name a few. But to keep it simple, I’ll simply refer to it as Yellow Quartz.
