Quartz with Hedenbergite
An aesthetic cluster of diverging Hedenbergite-included Quartz crystals. The crystals are lustrous and translucent and display a grayish-green color due to the Hedenbergite inclusions. The crystals also host an overgrowth of smaller Quartz crystals all around the prism faces of the larger crystals up to where their terminations begin. The two large focal crystals diverge at an almost ninety degree angle, making for great balance and symmetry. There is a self-healed fracture (no repair) that adds even more interest. A great piece in excellent condition.
