Muscovite (Star Mica)
This is a superb and lustrous specimen of a “Star” of Muscovite, also known as Mica. This specimen exhibits this unique and uncommon twinned crystal formation, creating a visual “star.” Muscovite forms in layers and thus cleaves in paper thin layers, and this layering formation can be clearly seen on this piece. This is a very aesthetic piece without matrix and displays beautifully. In excellent condition.
