This is a stunning, pristine Barite crystal on contrasting matrix. The crystal is tabular, or more specifically, “flattened tabular with pointed ends” – minerals.net. This Barite crystal is transparent, sharp and golden-yellow. To add even more aesthetic appeal, the crystal is clearly zoned, similar to growth rings in a tree’s cross-section.
