Amethyst Geode (2 halves)
This piece goes to show you can’t judge a book by its cover. To see these two halves together, it is plain and unimpressive. Even ugly. Then to observe it split open and see the lustrous, purple Amethyst crystals lining the entire cavity on both halves, is an amazing picture of contrast! Even on the edge detail, the outer layer of purple Amethyst is nicely contrasted with the inner layer of white, translucent Quartz. A very large, unique and aesthetic piece that wows anyone who sees it. An exceptional decor piece as well. In excellent condition (but the outside is still ugly . . . ).
